PUPDATE! Meet the Team: Patricia (Patty) Penas Assistant General Manager

When you walk into the PUPS Pet Club in Wicker Park, you’re going to be greeted with an enormous smile, an excitable screech and a little happy dance. Well, that overwhelmingly pleasant greeting comes from our Assistant General Manager, Patty! And trust me, your pup is just as excited to see her because our fur babies absolutely adore her. 

Patty has been a valued member of the PUPS Pet Club team for the past three years! During that time, she’s done a little bit of everything.

Originally, she was a Daycare Attendant but she was quickly promoted to Lead Daycare Attendant. She flourished within the role and was quickly promoted again to Member Service Representative and most recently, Assistant General Manager. Patty said that she quickly fell in love with PUPS Pet Club as a company, but she also has a lot of love for her Wicker Park family as well as the pups in the area who she fondly refers to as her “second babies.”

The love Patty has for dogs – especially their health, safety and well-being – is undeniable. And it truly shows through her work at PUPS!

She claims not to have a favorite dog breed, but she definitely has a soft spot for Otto the Viszla and Olly the Labradoodle.

If she had to give pet owner’s one tip, it would be to stay on top of nail trims and/or nail buffs. They are a simple, but highly effective service, that can help prevent so many health issues down the line. Plus it helps prevent excessive scratch marks on the humans that take care of each dog, which obviously includes Patty.

We are so thankful for our kind-hearted and devoted staff, especially leaders like Patty. Thank you for everything you do! Your team, your “second babies” and our members are grateful for you.
