PUPDATE! MEET THE TEAM: Genesis Yamat, General Manager, Lakeview

We are thrilled to announce that Genesis Yamat is taking the next step in her career as the new General Manager of our Lakeview Club! Genesis has proven to be a huge asset to the PUPS team over the last year or so as a Member Services Representative, Daycare Attendant, Shuttle Driver/Captain and now, General Manager. 

Genesis genuinely loves interacting with dogs and members each and every day. She particularly enjoys strengthening the bond she has with the daycare regulars in Lakeview. She tries not to pick favorites, but has a special place in her heart for Tazzie the Vizsla and Morty the Maltipoo. 

When she’s not at PUPS, you can find Genesis exploring the Lakeview and Boystown areas with her rescue pup, Zula. She also loves riding her bike around the neighborhood and visiting various dog friendly businesses. She’s also studying painting and illustration at the Art Institute! Her ideal, dream job would be something that allows her to take care of dogs and paint every day. 

Genesis is very excited to take the next step in her PUPS journey! We know that her positive attitude, supportive nature and knowledge of the business will have a positive impact on the Lakeview Team as well as PUPS in general. Please join me in congratulating Genesis on this promotion!
