PUPDATE! Meet the Team: Nick Kass, Member Advisor Manager
Have you ever met someone that can become best friends with a complete stranger in a matter of five minutes? If you haven’t, allow me to introduce you to Nick Kass.
Nick was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs but achieved his Undergraduate Degree at The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. From there, he became a teacher in Central Illinois but quickly became homesick and wanted to be back in Chicagoland. Along with the move, Nick was eager for a career change. He stumbled upon the PUPS website and immediately agreed with our mission statement. The similar values between PUPS and Nick paired with Nick’s underlying passion for animals and charismatic personality made him the perfect candidate for the Sales Manager role at PUPS.
Working at PUPS headquarters gives Nick the opportunity to utilize creative thinking skills in order to help our members every day. But he also enjoys visiting the clubs to check in with his peers and play with the adorable puppies. Nick thoroughly enjoys connecting with members while helping them find the best daycare, grooming, overnight or training options for their pup. In the future, Nick hopes to advance his career with PUPS even more by becoming a Director of Sales. Additionally, he would like to participate in more charitable work within the animal care industry.
When Nick is off the clock, you can most likely find him walking his dog Echo, hanging out with friends or exploring different areas of Chicago. His favorite Chicago spots include Monk’s Pub in River North, Emporium in Logan Square or anywhere that he can watch college basketball and professional football. He loves Chicago because there’s always great people to meet and fun things to do. If he were a dog, Nick says he would be a rottweiler because they can sometimes look intimidating but deep down, they are sweethearts.
Nick has had an immensely positive impact on PUPS Pet Club during his short time with us so far. We are grateful for his hard work and excited to see his future unfold.
