Convenience
We are all pressed for time these days. Why spend precious hours scheduling, traveling to and from, and even waiting at a vet hospital when your dog is already at PUPS? Our clubs with on-site Veterinarians offer the convenience of having all of your pet care needs under one roof.
Our wellness based clinic offers all of our pet parents the peace of mind that if something comes up while your pet is in our care, our on-site veterinarians will be there ready to respond. For all of our friends and neighbors, rest assured a qualified licensed veterinarian is close by and ready to serve your pet’s medical needs.
Dr. Tiffany Leach, aka “Dr. Tiff,” is a board-certified veterinary medical oncologist. She received her DVM degree from Kansas State University in 2007. She completed an internship in 2008 and residency in oncology at Purdue University in 2011. Dr. Tiff is a member of the Veterinary Cancer Society, ACVIM, AVMA, ISVMA, CVMA, and KSUCVM Alumni Association. Her inspiration started early in life. She always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Her mom was a compassionate, caring individual who shared a true gift of love for animals with her entire family. Dr. Tiff’s bond with humans and animals grew throughout her childhood, and she started volunteering at the local veterinary clinic in her hometown when she was 9 years old. From that point forward, she continued cultivating her knowledge of medicine, as well as the importance of the human-animal bond. She started volunteering with her first wolfhound, Jiggs, at nursing/assisted living facilities. She witnessed the profound positive impact of these visits with the residents, and went on to volunteer with her other wolfies at hospice facilities, hospitals, and cancer centers. Dr. Tiff’s Irish Wolfhound, Emmet, had significant anxiety-related issues. As a veterinarian, she hoped for a simple resolution, but there was no medication or treatment that truly helped. She came to a realization after his passing and following many heartfelt struggles along the way; Emmet was treated for a medical, behavior-related condition, but what he and his owner really needed was an experienced trainer. Following Emmet’s passing, Dr. Tiff set her own path to explore the benefits of early training for behavior/anxiety-related issues. She vowed to find an experienced, dedicated trainer for her next hound, which lead her to PUPS Pet Club and Daniel Rubenstein. Dan helped train her current wolfie, Tully, and the two bonded immediately. It was a positive experience from the first session to the last, and the results were apparent immediately. Dr. Tiff continues to feel privileged to practice veterinary medicine and gains additional knowledge, as well as perspectives, each day. She loves spending time with her Irish Wolfhounds, Ronan and Tully. She has found volunteering for low-income care facilities, pantries, and pet therapy programs to be very rewarding. She enjoys exploring the city with her friends/family, sewing, and taking care of her vast array of plants. She looks forward to caring for patients and pet parents every day.
